Williamson has practiced law since 1985. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, and for the past 15 years, has focused his practice on family law, representing clients in both mediation and litigation. As a father, he strongly believes in focusing on the best interests of the child in custody and support cases.

Texas Monthly Magazine recognized Mr. Williamson as a SuperLawyer in 2004 and 2005. Mr. Williamson has also received an AV* peer review rating in 2005.
